LETTER FROM THE DIRECTORJuly at the St. Joseph Arts Academy
Dear SJAA Students and Families,It may be hard to believe, but the back-to-school season is already right around the corner!Summer always seems to fly by, and while we’ve had an incredible time with lessons, classes, performances, and community events, many families are already beginning to think about fall schedules and routines. If your student has continued lessons through the summer, congratulations! You’re likely to notice the benefits when school begins again. Students who stay engaged with music during the summer often return to the school year with greater confidence, stronger skills, and renewed motivation. If you’ve taken a break for the summer, now is the perfect time to reconnect. We would love to help you find a lesson time that works with your new school schedule. Whether you’re hoping to return to your favorite teacher or need a new day, time, or instructor, we encourage families to reach out soon. As always, the most popular lesson times fill first, and availability becomes more limited as the school year approaches. One thing that surprises many people is that the Academy actually continues to grow throughout the summer. New students enroll every week, which means fall scheduling often begins earlier than families expect. If music lessons are part of your family’s plans this year, now is a great time to reserve your spot. We’re also excited to continue welcoming our youngest musicians through our Early Childhood Music programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and Pre-K students. These classes provide a fun and engaging introduction to music while building confidence, creativity, coordination, and a lifelong love of learning. If you know a family with young children, we’d be grateful if you’d share the Academy with them.At SJAA, we’re proud to serve students at every stage of the musical journey—from the littlest learners taking their first music class, to advancing musicians preparing for performances and auditions, to adults finally checking a lifelong musical goal off their bucket list.Thank you for allowing us to be part of your family’s musical education. Your support, encouragement, referrals, and enthusiasm help make this such a special community. We look forward to an exciting fall semester filled with learning, growth, friendship, and great music.Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we’ll see you back at the Academy soon!Thank you!

“We absolutely love the arts academy!! The teachers are amazing. They are patient and let students go at their own pace. They make sure students understand the material and ask if they have questions. They teach songs that interest the students, asking if students have songs they specifically want to learn. They get to know us, not just the lessons. They ask about our lives outside the academy and become good friends and mentors of the students.”- Courtney E.

#MusicAccomplishedOur July “Student of the Month” is…

Isabelle J.!

We are so lucky to have Isabelle and her family with us at the SJAA.

Isabelle has been taking private lesson from Mr. Brock for the past 8 years!! She loves being part of SJAA family. She enjoys singing, participating in musicals. And also a little sewing projects when she has time.

We’ll celebrate Isabelle with a gift card for her!
Thank you, Isabelle for referring your friends and family to the Academy.
Congratulations!!!

Back-to-School LessonSummer is flying by, and the school year will be here before we know it!If you’ll need to adjust your lesson day or time this fall, now is the perfect time to start that conversation with your teacher or the office. And if you’ve taken a summer break and are planning to return, we’d love to help you find the best fit before schedules fill up.The St. Joseph Arts Academy is a year-round music school, and while we always do our best to accommodate every family, lesson times are limited and the most popular spots are claimed quickly. We’re grateful to have you as part of the SJAA family.
