14 Benefits of Becoming an Academy Student

Years of Excellence
Music Teachers
Instruments Taught
1

Every Instrument Under One Roof

Piano, Guitar (acoustic & electric), Violin, Cello & Strings, Drums, Voice & Singing, Bass, Mandolin, Banjo, Ukulele, Early Childhood Music and Art Classes — all in one location. Our newly renovated Academy has 8 spacious private teaching studios, a large multimedia classroom, and 3 comfortable waiting areas. We’re a dedicated education Academy, not a noisy music store.

2

The Most Qualified Music Instructors in the Area

We have 20 music teachers, all with college training or professional performance experience. With at least three teachers for the most popular instruments, we’re confident we have the right match for your goals, style, and personality.

3

Conveniently Located in St. Joseph

Our central location at 2027 N. 36th Street (Beck Road Center) draws students from across the region. Right off the Belt highway with shopping and restaurants close by — easy to find, easy to get to.

4

A Proven Track Record of Excellence

Trusted by hundreds of families for over 30 years. While many private studios come and go, the Academy has a proven record of offering quality instruction year-round. Our full-time mission is teaching music.

5

Comfortable Parent’s Lounges

Over 2,000 square feet of spacious, parent-friendly waiting areas with comfortable chairs, kids’ toys, Wi-Fi, magazines, and bottled water. Large observation windows on every door let you watch your child’s lesson — or sit in on it anytime.

6

Fully Stocked Lesson Rooms

Our studios are equipped with amps, pianos, full drum kits, music stands, and cutting-edge technology — from Pro Tools and GarageBand to music streaming and teaching apps. All you need to bring is your instrument.

7

Free, All-Inclusive Recitals & Performance Opportunities

Students perform in regular monthly studio recitals plus special events and summertime festivals like the Blues & Jazz Festival, JoeStock, Trails West, and Bluegrass Battles Hunger. Unlike other schools, there are no admission or related fees for our recitals. It’s the best way to see your investment in action.

8

Professional “Make You Happy” Customer Service

We strive to bring you the best customer service possible, 7 days a week. Our expanding front desk staff assists you during all lessons, quickly and professionally. Excellent service is what sets us apart.

9

The Widest Range of Lesson Times

Open 7 days a week with lessons by scheduled appointment. Whatever your schedule looks like, we have a time that works for you and your family.

10

Discounts & Best Prices on Accessories

We’re the only music school offering student discounts on music books, instruments, and accessories year-round. Our vendor connections save you money and time so you don’t have to shop around.

11

Awards for Achievements & Milestones

Students earn special medals, pins, and certificates for passing musical tests and reaching milestones. These rewards motivate learners and celebrate accomplishments big and small — from finishing a book to their first recital.

12

Flexible Make-Up Classes

Missed a lesson? No problem. With 48 hours’ notice we’ll work to reschedule you. If a teacher has to miss, you’ll be offered a make-up opportunity or a credit toward the next month.

13

Music Lessons 7 Days a Week

We’re the only music school in St. Joseph offering lessons seven days a week: Mon–Fri 9am–9pm, Saturdays 11am–4pm, and Sundays 1–6pm. Built around your busy life.

14

Month-to-Month Lessons — No Contracts

We don’t require semester minimums. Start anytime, and if you need to stop, just give us 14 days’ written notice. Our goal is to inspire through great teachers and music you love.
