The Write Notes – March 2021

Dear Students & SJAA Families,Spring is finally here!

March serves as the one year anniversary of our initial quarantine followed by a 2020 that was… let’s say… unique.

While not without some great benefits, our families faced incredible challenges and uncertainties that added a lot of stress to our lives.

I want to extend a sincerest “Thank You” to you, our amazing instructors, awesome students and families who remained dedicated to your music lessons and personal growth.

When some gave up or other businesses simply couldn’t make it, the academystayed strong and steady.

It is at testament to the character of all of our members and to a deep belief in the power of music and art in our lives.

Safety will remain our first priority.  And the academy is growing again with new teachers and new families coming aboard for the adventure.

We have big things ahead and lots to look forward to TOGETHER.

Hope you will remain safe and well.  God bless your family and have a very happy spring.

Celebrations!

Welcome to our newest teachers and team members!  Marina Gurnovich (Piano/Voice), Darren Verbick (Piano/et al) & Dan Bliss (guitar).  We are so fortunate to have these master teachers working with our students and families at the SJAA.
Our protection plans, safety and cleaning protocols are constant, continuous and on-going.

It continues to be safety first around here.  Teachers will remain in masks.  Our waiting areas are technically still “closed” for the time being and we remain diligent.  The SJAA is dedicated to making any needed changes and in tune with local and state guidelines.

Student of the Month

Our March “Student of the Month” is…

Gwen J.!

We are so lucky to have Gwen and her family with us at the SJAA.

Besides her guitar lessons w/Jason and a piano lesson with Brent, Gwen brings a smile with her wherever she goes. She enjoys sports, traveling, art, music and spending time with family and friends. Gwen loves to play with her dog, Pfeiffer and aspires to be a vet when she grows up. Gwen has a big heart and is a joy to be around.

We’ll celebrate Gwen with an Amazon gift card for her!
